5. Third parties and international transfers
We use a small number of external services to run this website. Each one processes data under its own terms:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) — website statistics, loaded only with your consent. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd) — the embedded map on our contact section. Loading it may set cookies and share your IP address with Google.
- Google Fonts — typefaces served for the site's appearance.
- Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Denmark) — cookie consent management.
- Our hosting provider — server logs necessary to deliver the site.
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep data
- Business correspondence — kept for as long as the commercial relationship requires, and afterwards for as long as Greek accounting and commercial law obliges us to.
- Analytics data — retained according to our Google Analytics configuration, and no longer than 14 months.
- Consent records — kept by Cookiebot for 12 months, after which you will be asked again.
- Server logs — kept for a short period for security and diagnostics.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Ask us to erase your data, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it
- Ask us to restrict how we use it
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it
To exercise any of these, email chartering@almanavigation.gr. We will respond within one month.
